Our Story

The Finger Lakes Region is known for its scenic rolling hills, impressive gorges, and refreshing deep lakes. Many of our lakes have cliff-like coast lines and, while they are part of the region’s charm, these bluffs keep many from enjoying the lake shore. FLX TRAM recognized the challenge that steep, intricate stairs cause and set out to find a better way to help people of all ages and abilities enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes.

FLX TRAM was founded in 2008 and has continued to grow throughout the years. Our team works tirelessly to provide a reliable and elegant product in every tram, creating a water access solution that preserves environmental quality and aesthetic.

FLX TRAM is proud to be the leading tram system in the Finger Lakes Region and surrounding area. We are locally owned and serviced but not confined to just the Finger Lakes. FLX TRAM can be found along the Niagara rivers, Lake Erie, Westchester County, and in New Jersey and Boston. We work with clients both near and far to meet their accessibility needs.
